High Efficiency Nozzle

In response to these problems, the GH3 high efficiency nozzle was created, which is made of heat-resistant 310S stainless steel and combined with gold. The nozzle uses the large flow channel through technology, the flow area reaches 376mm2, and is equipped with an anti-blocking cone, which can effectively prevent iron sulfide blockage. In addition, it also draws on the Laval nozzle technology of rocket engines, through the self-developed two-stage growth rate and fixed forced atomization technology, the use of centrifugal force and supersonic speed to achieve forced atomization of liquid sulfur. A negative pressure zone is formed at the nozzle to avoid the phenomenon of liquid sulfur dripping. The ratio of flow and pressure adjustment is 1:2 and 1:4, respectively. When the initial pressure is 0.35MPa, the effective atomization effect can be achieved. The atomization pressure of 0.90MPa can meet the requirements of full load operation. The cross section of the nozzle runner is 376mm2, including six 7mm× 9mm flow hole, with strong resistance to particulate clogging ability. 75% of atomized particles are less than or equal to 20um in diameter, ensuring that liquid sulfur atomized particles are fine and uniform, and can be quickly vaporized and burned in the sulfur burner, effectively preventing the accumulation of liquid sulfur in the furnace. The solid structure of the fog torch helps to improve the volume ratio of the sulfur burning furnace. The GH3 high efficiency nozzle and nozzle seat seal seat are threaded, and the sealing pad is a high temperature resistant metal pad, which effectively solves the sealing leakage problem caused by cold and heat shrinkage when the equipment is restarted after production, and is easy to maintain and disassemble.

Working Principle

Efficient nozzles with two-stage Laval nozzle technology can significantly increase the centrifugal force of liquid sulfur. The nose of the Laval nozzle is designed to gradually shrink to a narrow throat and then gradually expand after the throat. After the liquid sulfur is accelerated through the first stage Laval nozzle, it enters the second stage nozzle, where it is accelerated again and ejected from the nozzle after passing through the narrow throat of the second stage. This structure design makes the static pressure energy of liquid sulfur effectively converted into dynamic pressure energy under the action of the cross-sectional area of the nozzle, so as to give the liquid sulfur high-speed spraying and atomization power.

Liquid sulfur in the high efficiency nozzle runner does not produce along and local resistance, liquid sulfur into the nozzle total pressure P can be ignored in the nozzle runner pressure loss. The alkali and salt particles resolved from the liquid sulfur are carried out of the nozzle under the action of high flow rate, which effectively avoids the problem of nozzle blockage.
